In an effort to further a Florida pipeline, the WVU football program sent an offer to Grant Wise, a four-star center/guard, on Thursday.
Wise (6-foot-4, 310 pounds) posted about his West Virginia offer on X (Twitter) along with a picture of WVU all-time great and new Pittsburgh Steeler Zach Frazier.

The class of 2026 prospect attends the well regarded for churning quality athletes Pace High School in Milton, Fla. Wise has already been awarded a four stars from multiple national recruiting platforms ESPN, Rivals and On3 Sports while being labeled as a three-star by 247 Sports. Each outlets ranks Wise as one of the top 50 Florida players in his class.
Wise’s most favorable ranking comes from On3, who ranks him at No. 19.
All of the attention from recruiting experts has earned Wise offers from a bunch of Power Four programs and many others. Alabama, Boston College, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Southern, Georgia Tech, Kansas, Louisville, Marshall, Miami (FL), Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State, South Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, Troy, Tulane, UCF, USF and Western Kentucky have all offered Wise.
